1. Who is responsible
Z. connect is the trading identity used on this website. For website enquiries, the contact point is hi@connectz.co.uk. The legal contracting identity for paid work will be stated in the relevant proposal or contract.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, business or industry, project interests, budget range, timing and message. WhatsApp and email enquiries are also processed through those providers. If you allow optional analytics, limited technical and interaction information may be measured to understand page use and enquiry journeys. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through the project form.
3. Why we use it
- To read, assess and respond to enquiries.
- To prepare a requested proposal or take steps before a contract.
- To manage an agreed client relationship.
- To protect the website, prevent spam and keep necessary records.
- To measure and improve the website where optional analytics consent has been given.
- To send marketing only where there is a lawful basis and an easy way to opt out.
4. Lawful bases
Depending on the context, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the studio, legal obligations, or consent where consent is required. Optional analytics is activated only after a positive choice.
5. Sharing and processors
Information may be handled by website hosting, analytics where enabled, email, WhatsApp, professional advisers and service providers that help us operate. We do not sell personal information. A project may involve a specialist only where appropriate, with access limited to what they need and subject to suitable terms.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards should be used by the relevant provider or controller. Provider privacy notices explain their own arrangements.
7. Retention
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are normally reviewed for deletion after 12 months. Client and transaction records may be kept longer where needed for the contract, tax, insurance, dispute or legal purposes. Analytics retention follows the configured provider settings and is reviewed when measurement systems change.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive certain data, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email hi@connectz.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Automated decisions
We do not use the website enquiry form to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
10. Updates
This notice will be updated if data uses, providers or the responsible legal entity change.
