Data protection
Website enquiries and client information are handled with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 principles in mind: lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, security and accountability. The ICO notes that privacy information should identify the organisation, purposes, lawful bases, retention, sharing and individual rights.

Cookies and electronic marketing
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations apply to cookies and similar technologies, as well as many forms of electronic direct marketing. Non-essential cookies should not be set before valid consent, and consent requires a clear positive action.
Advertising and claims
Marketing communications should be legal, decent, honest and truthful. Objective claims need evidence; significant qualifications must not be hidden; and advertising must be identifiable. We do not promise guaranteed sales, virality, funding, rankings or introductions.
CAP Code: misleading advertising
Consumer and distance contracts
If services are sold to consumers online or at a distance, pre-contract information, pricing, cancellation and confirmation requirements may apply. Project terms must reflect the actual client type, service and circumstances rather than relying only on this website.

Charity partnerships
A charity name, logo, endorsement or fundraising claim will not be published until authority, terms and any required commercial-participation statement are confirmed. Public wording will state the nature and value of the commitment clearly.
Intellectual property
Creative work can involve copyright, trade marks, licences, releases and third-party usage rights. Ownership and permitted use should be stated in the project contract; a paid invoice alone does not answer every rights question.
Legal and specialist referrals
Z. connect is not a law firm. Any legal specialist introduced to a client acts under their own engagement terms, professional duties and regulatory status. A referral does not guarantee suitability or outcome, and material referral arrangements should be disclosed.
Business identity
If a limited company becomes the website operator, required company disclosures—including registered name, number, office and jurisdiction—will be added. Until then, the contracting person or entity will be stated in each proposal or contract.
